- - - - S.E. ALASKA BAREBOAT CHARTERS SINCE 1980 - - - -

“Cruise Southeast Alaska Where the Ordinary is Spectacular!”
"Never before have I been embosmed in scenery so hopelessly beyond description. Tracing shining waves through fjord and sound, past forest and waterfall, islands and mountains..." John Muir, Travels in Alaska, 1915

Nordic Tug Charters has provided power "bareboat" charters, using a fleet of high end Nordic Tug trawlers, since 1980. Our fleet is currently comprised of 13 boats, including 32',37',42', and a three stateroom 54'. From inception, the fleet has been based in Juneau, Alaska. In 2006 Ketchikan was added as an additional operations base.

Beginning 2010, NTC is the only S.E. Alaska charter company offering four distinct and differentiated charter packages.
1) Bareboat Charters
2) Skippered Bareboat Charters
3) Skippered 54' with deckhand: Customized Floatplan
4) Fully Crewed 85' Custom Charter: Groups of 6 to 10

Call 206-919-7887 or use "Contact Us" email for more detailed information.

We are growing the fleet to meet the increasing interest in bareboat charter cruising the "Inside Passage" waters of Southeast Alaska.

We are also Charter Brokers prepared to assist you in finding any type of power boat charter desired in S.E. Alaska if we are unable to fullfill your objectives.

Take a “cruise” through our web site and consider reserving a charter time. Our goal is to provide you with an experience you will never forget. We know the beauty of the area and the wildlife will do their part and we will do everything we can to provide a great charter experience! Let us know if we can provide you with any information or answer any questions.

If you have not chartered with us before we ask that you contact us at 206-919-7887, before making a reservation, so we can review our operating policies with you and answer any questions you may have. Thank You!

Alaskan waters are perhaps the most spectacular and beautiful areas for cruising in the world. It is where nature still dominates the vast land mass of Alaska and produces breathtaking and unforgettable sights. If you visit, you will leave part of your heart and soul here and return home with a memorable life experience.

Memories such as:
-adrenalin pumping excitement of seeing live the breaching of a humpback whale
-sitting in silence, listening to the lightning like sounds of ice cracking and calving on a tidewater glacier
-instantaneous response to a sharp jerk on a rod tip and the words "fish on"
-everyone huddling up on the stern to see the first discernable shape of something in a surfacing crab or shrimp pot
-awesome magnitude of one of nature's landscape presentations which a photograph cannot replicate
-eerily beautiful and peaceful look of an Alaskan sunset
-sculptured elegance, unique blue hues, and ever changing silhouette of floating glacier ice

We guarantee you will experience something you will never forget! Our desire is for you to feel the same passion about the experience as we do and come back again to share in the wonders of cruising S.E. Alaska. If we can help you in the process of deciding if what we offer represents an opportunity you would like to experience, use our "Contact Us" email system and we will respond.

If you are unable to find a reservation time you're looking for, let us know through our "Contact Us" email system. We maintain a standby list in case we add a boat to the fleet or someone has to cancel a reservation. Requests will be held in order received.
